The SEO industry is constantly changing, however, there is one element that has remained unchanged over the years.

Yes, backlinks are still the most important ranking factor for Google.

Therefore, if you want to improve the SEO of your website and by extension your positioning in Google, you need to implement one of the link building strategies .

Until now, the goal of this strategy qatar email database free was to get as many links as possible to point to the target page.

To achieve this, many used links from low-quality websites, forums and comments left on other related websites.

The game has changed substantially, because today what you need are trusted links in the eyes of search engines.

That's where the problem lies, because getting links that Google considers trustworthy is not that easy.

Content marketing has helped, more than any other marketing technique, to redefine the discipline of link building.

What will link building be like in 2018?
We call link building the process of obtaining links from other websites, so nowadays content plays an important role in this process.

Furthermore, not all types of content are good for getting links.

Simply posting content and waiting for other sites to link to it no longer works.

The current state of content marketing has one unique problem: millions of pieces of content are shared every day but only as mentions, not as backlinks from one website to another.

Thus, we find mentions of authors, companies and publications in the form of quotes, sometimes even with links to social media profiles, leaving aside content links.

This situation means that since there is no link, only a mention, you do not get the expected SEO benefits.

Also, it is more important to post on the right sites rather than getting links from many sites.

Obviously, if you get links from authoritative sources, your own authority will improve.

And needless to say, Google's drive to improve quality over quantity has made these authoritative links much harder to come by.
