Make sure that the communication around it is also sustainable and that everyone in the company is aware of it, propagates it and continues to do so. This also applies to customers. By creating involvement and communicating responsibly and credibly about the sustainability theme not only internally but also externally, the story is actually told, which gives it support.
There is quite a lot involved in designing, selecting or developing, managing and optimizing an intranet or digital work environment. Think of technology and user experience design , but also of adoption and acceptance, and management and governance setup. As far as I am concerned, five factors are fundamental to success. In this article I will discuss goal and strategy, setup model, ownership, success factors and the value of your intranet.
A good, broadly supported goal and numrat grek associated (intranet) strategy.
A suitable (technical) model for setting up your digital work environment.
Clear agreements on ownership and governance.
Clear view of the success factors of your intranet and how to measure them.
Gain insight into the value or return on investment (ROI) your intranet delivers.
