Since we run our own blog about work, and this is the foundation of our marketing strategy, it was important for us to make the site simple enough (we would have been stunned if we had done it too long and complicated at once) and to competently connect it with our blog on Medium . And in the future, we plan to improve the site, transfer the blog from Medium to the site and create more individual pages for cases.

There were 2 options here:

Each has its own advantages and disadvantages, but we chose the first option. And here's why:

1/ Having a website on Tilda, we are confident that in the future it will be easier for us to maintain it, adjust it and add content.

3/ Custom development is more expensive, and, unfortunately, very often requires signing a lifetime contract with the original developers in order to improve and change something in the future.

4/ One of the unpleasant disadvantages of Tilda: since it was assembled on custom blocks, then when adding or editing content (a new case, for example), you have to specify a link for each clickable area separately, and also configure the display each time on 5 types of adaptability:


5/ And then do the same for the English version of the site. With this solution, there is a big risk of screwing up and missing something. You need to do it carefully every time, and it will take more time anyway.

6/ In custom development, this could be significantly simplified: insert a title, image, text, link - and done! But to come to such a decision, you will have to sweat a lot, spend even more time checking and accepting completed work, constant corrections, and so on. Or you will have to spend several times more money on high-quality outsourcing.
