From 2016 to today, registered digital identities have increased at a gallop, first uncertain, then fluctuating, finally continuous and rapid.
Here are the SPID numbers year after year:
2016: from 0 to approximately 800 thousand registrations;
2017: 2 million reached;
2018: 3 million reached;
2019: 5.5 million reached;
2020: 15 million reached;
2021: 27 million reached;
2022: 30 million goal reached.
