The MariaDB Corporation is opening this year's and largest user and developer conference to date, MariaDB OpenWorks, in Manhattan, New York today. This year, the conference has been expanded to three days and over 60 presentations and workshops. The goal: to show new horizons to data professionals who have felt held back for too long by the sluggish and expensive world of proprietary manufacturers. The conference will be held for the third time in 2019. Around 900 people will attend.
