On January 23, we participated as speakers at FiturTech 2019 to talk about connected experiences and new technologies applied to tourism.
“Reaching unknown people is becoming more and more complicated,” was how Pau Klein, our Sales Consultant, began his presentation at FiturTech 2019. During the presentation, which took place on January 23, we wanted to address a key topic for the industry: connected experiences and new technologies applied to tourism .
We live in a hyper-connected world, we are constantly impacted germany phone number data by advertising, we access infinite amounts of information through the Internet... and making purchasing decisions is becoming increasingly difficult.
This whole context works against brands, which have to compete for the attention of users without often knowing them completely. For this reason, tourism companies must opt for omnichannel strategies and be present on all platforms that allow them to reach their target audience.
Connected experiences allow users to connect the different points of contact that they have with a brand across different channels. To offer these connected experiences on a large scale, brands need to have a complete, data-driven view of their customers from all possible areas: marketing, sales, customer service… And to do so, it is vital to have a technological infrastructure that allows these actions to be carried out.
But why should brands create connected experiences? As Pau explained at FiturTech 2019 , the consumer's decision is no longer instantaneous. From the moment they come into contact with the product or service until they click "buy" many things can happen. That's why it's important to reconnect with users through different channels to attract them back to the purchasing process
