EAT (Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) : the experience, authority and credibility of the content creator and of the website itself.
Main content : the main content of the website.
Information about the website and the person responsible for creating the main content.
Reputation : Reviews, links, etc. matter here.
Some guidelines on writing and length of content
It may have already become clear that when creating web content, quality is more important than quantity, but you may still be wondering how to approach writing a text or what guidelines you should give to the writer who will be in charge of doing it.
As I have already explained, this area is quite subjective since the criteria have to be adapted to each specific case.
However, in my experience as a writer and copywriter, I have detected some common criteria.
I am going to explain how I approach writing web texts grouped into three different blocks:
For general websites.
For e-commerces.
For blogs and content marketing.
1.- General websites
Generally speaking, when I talk about general websites I am basically referring to all those that are neither e-commerce nor media outlets.
In this case, the writing work is always focused on creating the main content of the website: , categories and subcategories.
The most important thing to keep in mind with this type of website is that, unless they are going to work on content marketing (which they should), most of the concepts they aspire to position themselves with are the ones they will work on when writing the web texts.
Therefore, although the length will have to depend greatly on the list of real mobile database type of business, it is recommended that they be extensive.
Similarly, I would recommend that whenever possible you work on a main keyword and some more specific secondary keywords, playing with singular and plural terms.
It is also very important to pay attention to the structure of the information.
