Meet The Chef season 2: watch all the episodes again

At the beginning of November, Lightspeed presented the trailer for the new season of its mini-series Meet The Chef. With its four episodes, now all released, Meet The Chef has fulfilled its objectives — to be a true ode to Belgian gastronomy, and to show the dedication and passion that drive four of the best chefs in Belgium: Frédéric Chabbert (Dôme), Benoît Neusy (L'Impératif), Sam Van Houcke (Maste) and Marcelo Ballardin (Oak).

Episode 1: Frédéric Chabbert | Dome
By settling in Antwerp, Frédéric Chabbert radically transformed his approach to catering. The choice of the establishment, Dôme , was obvious, since it instantly seduced his wife, Evangeline. The chef's working methods qatar cell phone number were completely turned upside down: he set himself constraints to push his creativity ever further. Ole, his farmer, dictated the ingredients to use on a daily basis, based on what he could present to him; Nathalie, a force for proposals, pushed him to use new techniques or elements. Episode 2: Sam Van Houcke | Maste
Maste Restaurant — a fusion of Sam’s name and that of his wife, Stefanie — reflects the conviviality, quality and sustainability of Danish culture: Hygge. At Maste , the Hygge philosophy is not only reflected in the food, but also in the look of the restaurant.

Episode 3: Benoît Neusy | The Imperative
When Benoît Neusy received an offer to become the chef of the restaurant L'Impératif at Domaine d'Arondeau, he was initially doubtful. Why would he want to retreat so far from the city center? However, as soon as he visited the place, he was immediately won over by its setting and atmosphere. Domaine d'Arondeau is not just a restaurant: it is also a hotel and seminar rooms.

In November 2017, Oak Restaurant received its first Michelin star. An emotional moment, not only for him and Dominique — who, according to Marcelo, is “the backbone of the company” — but also for the entire team. That day, it became clear that Oak Restaurant had reached a certain level in the culinary world. A level they have been trying to surpass every day since.
