Select Friends and click Add Friend

On PC
Step 1: Open the Steam app, select Friends at the top, and click Add Friend. On the Steam website, hover over your account and select Friends.
Step 2: Enter your friend's Steam Code in the dialog box and press Enter.
Tip: If your friend can't find the code, ask them to follow the steps above to find their friend code on Steam.
Add the friend code to the dialog box.
Step 3: Once you see his profile, click on “Send Invite”.
Add the code and click "Send Invite".
Using the Steam app on a mobile device
