Wimi is more like afile sharing toolthan a pure project management software but still has interesting basic notions, especially for the collaborative aspect. On the document side, Wimi offers you all the essential features: drag-and-drop, online editing, adding comments or importing from several recognized applications such as Dropbox or Google Drive. On the project side, you can create and assign tasks and view them in list or calendar view. Collaborators can also enter the number of days spent working on a task.

No planning at Basecamp but a calendar view where you will find all your dated project elements. Little extra: The Basecamp team preconfigures a sample project to guide you in your first use.

Basecamp offers you a 60-day trial period, which is more than enough given how easy the tool is to understand. Basecamp can be described as a very complete solution even if it lacks planning tools. The clarity of the interface allows you to store a significant amount of content and find your way around easily, even though it is only in English. As for the price, expect $20/month (around €15) for 10 projects and 3 GB of storage – unlimited users.
