If you don't have a blog, nothing happens, if you do, something happens.

Blogging isn't for everyone. If you don't have it, that's okay. However, if you get going and enjoy the journey, you might surprise yourself.

Back in 2014, I had forgotten a little about the magic that running a blog can have . I admit that I've been a little overwhelmed these past few months, because of work (or because of it), preparing for a marathon, and always feeling a little guilty for not spending more time with my family. The feedback I'm always looking for has turned into an unpleasant noise.

Things are changing. A recent post has reminded me why I started this blog in the first place. For me, it has been an impressive motivation to see that through a small initiative it is possible to activate a community that helps each other. It is one more example that shows that sometimes you don't need much to do things.

A blog is not for everyone . You have to be there for a long period japan telephone number of time, willing to give a lot and get little or nothing in return. “What’s the point?” some people will say, and maybe they are right. It’s okay if you don’t have one, and you might even be a lot calmer. You won’t get nervous because no one comments on you. Or worse still, you won’t have trouble sleeping because someone left you a comment that puts you down and makes you want to show your most violent side.

But what happens when something happens? It's hard to describe if you've never experienced it first hand. Bloggers often feel an incredible personal satisfaction that is much more fulfilling than anything you can earn in euros. There's nothing wrong with the financial part. You have to get it out of your head for once that making money with a blog is a bad thing. You may even find readers who encourage you to make more profit from it (at least in my case).

A pat on the back or a thank you email from a reader make the bad times worth it. First you are surprised that there are people who read you. Then you realize that suddenly the media contacts you for an interview. Your mother proudly tells you that her child has appeared in such and such a place. The blogger enjoys these moments in silence ( or not ).
