According to Article 112 of the Labor Code , the following are considered holidays:
January 1–8 — New Year kuwait mobile database holidays, including Christmas,
February 23 - Defender of the Fatherland Day,
March 8 is International Women's Day,
May 1st - Spring and Labor Day,
May 9 - Victory Day,
June 12 - Russia Day,
November 4 is National Unity Day.
According to the production calendar in 2025, out of 365 days, there will be 247 working days and 118 days off (holidays). So, taking into account weekends and holidays, Russians will rest on the following dates:
All other days except weekends will be working days. If a working day is followed by a holiday, then you are supposed to work an hour less. The same rule applies if you have to work on weekends. Before weekends, the working day is not shortened, even if the day off is added to the holiday.
In 2025, there will be four shortened days: March 7, April 30, June 11 and November 1.

The best months for vacation in financial terms are those with the fewest holidays. In 2025, July and October will be the longest months in terms of the number of working days: 23 out of 31 days of the month will be working. Accordingly, it is most profitable to take a vacation in these months. The least profitable will be January, May, June and November.
But if you want to increase not the number of vacation days, but the number of days for rest, then you should do the opposite - take a vacation immediately before or after the holidays. It is worth considering that when paying for vacation, holidays will not be taken into account, and the vacation will only increase for the holidays themselves, and weekends added to the holidays are not taken into account. That is, if the vacation falls on the weekend from May 8 to 11, for example, then it will increase by one day, due to May 9, which is considered a holiday.
