Christmas advertising, what we liked the most

Once again, the Christmas campaign serves as an excuse for the most creative campaigns by brands. These are the ones that our team liked the most.

Christmas advertising campaigns are the most eagerly awaited. Messages full of emotion, the search for emotional impact, creativity to get the customer's attention, trapping the viewer in an orgy of multi-formats that try to sell you a product, an idea or an experience.
Christmas advertising is the best. We love Christmas ads. Brands invest effort and money to surprise us, and there are brands that are very faithful to this time of year, giving their best in a spot lasting a few seconds or a few minutes.

We have selected 4 ads from 2021.
We liked them for various reasons, we show them to you and tell you who their favorite is and why.

Audi: Christmas 2021

Our colleague Nico chose this ad because it is a simple architectural industry email list idea executed in a subtle and elegant way. Santa's sleigh has become an Audi. Everything is changing, electrification in the automotive sector is a reality and what better way to represent this change than to replace reindeer with KW of power.
In addition, Santa Claus has gone from being an obese man to being a seductive "Yayo". Santa Claus is now Batman.

Holiday | Saving Simon | Shot on iPhone 13 Pro | Apple

Álvaro Moreno chooses this Apple spot that returns to Christmas with the fantastic combination of telling us a story full of emotions and the delicacy of selling us its wonderful technology, since technically the spot is recorded with the latest model of its star product, the iPhone. All of this was filmed by two Oscar nominees, Jason and Ivan Reitman, directors of the latest and successful film "Ghostbusters: Afterlife."

Ruavieja Ad | Christmas 2021 | I want to see you better

Borja Fernández chooses a continuation campaign like Ruavieja. The brand decides to maintain the message of the previous campaign but improve it and adapt it to the present. It does not abandon the emotional effect and improves it to continue with the same discourse. In addition, it uses a song to develop both the plot and the discourse. The song is available on Spotify.

REBEL IS BORN | #Scalpers Xmas Campaign

Finally, Paco García chooses the REBELDE SE NACE campaign by Scalpers. The reason for his choice is that a little says a lot. A daring advertisement embodying the figure of Jesus, not as a born child, but as the rebel who dared to “face the established power”. A brutal message that focuses on the protagonist, focusing the image on him and with the aesthetics of the brand.

We hope you liked these four choices. Did you like them? What was your favourite Christmas 2021 advert?
