Each entry must contain a time of the event

5. Go to offline events in your ad account and select 'upload offline events'.
6. You will then be given the option to upload a CSV or TXT file. Requirements for this upload are:
Each entry must contain an event name, for example lead, purchase, and registration
If you are using the 'purchase' event, your input must also include a currency and value
Each entry must contain personal data, so that a match can be made with Facebook users. In this I advise to always enter the email address and the mobile number if possible. By using both, you increase the height of your match considerably!
7. Then match your entered fields with Facebook's selection criteria. If you find it difficult to create an Excel list that you can use for the upload, you can use this template (csv).

8. Once you have checked everything, click upload.
9. Once your upload is complete, the next hong kong mobile phone number screen will show you the percentage by which Facebook was able to make a match.
10. Next, go to 'Ads Manager' to see what your campaign has actually achieved. Once you're in your ads manager, choose the 'offline conversions' column view. You'll then see how many in-store sales you've achieved, via people who also interacted with your Facebook campaign.

Tip! If you decide to use this, make sure you register your purchases properly and have up-to-date customer data.
Please include the date and time of purchase!
What I still wonder is what happens if someone has made a purchase and then seen the ad. Is this also seen as an offline conversion? To prevent this risk, it might be a good idea to include the time of day in your upload file, in addition to the purchase date. This way, it can really be ruled out whether someone interacted with your ad before or after the purchase.
I'm curious if it will give you new insights! If you can't figure it out yourself or have other questions about offline events, let me know in the comments.
