TALENT DAYS: What was the recruitment process like at Henry Meds from your perspective and what did the company pay special attention to?

Michał: After the job fair, I got a call pretty quickly with an invitation to the next stages of recruitment. The process itself was really a conversation about how it is to work in a given position and how it can be related to my previous experiences. It was not a classic recruitment process, where the recruiter only asks questions and the candidate only answers. Instead, they paid special attention to knowledge of English, because it is the

fact that you work in English on a daily basis, what else can you tell us about your responsibilities?

Michał: My position is based on ensuring that all patients/clients' visits run smoothly. This requires me to pay close attention to detail, review the necessary documentation and, if necessary, contact the client to complete it. Additionally, I support other people in my department in matters related to its functioning. My duties also include answering questions from the medical team regarding scheduling and administrative issues. Recently, I have also had the pleasure of training new team members. What I value most about this job is its diversity. Every day brings new challenges and there is no room for monotony.

TALENT DAYS: You like diversity, so how is it to work with the team in your department, especially with people with different personalities?

Michał: Our company has an atmosphere of mutual help and cooperation. Colleagues from my and other teams are always ready to offer support, so no one feels lost or left alone. Every day I get challenges that allow me to develop my competences, and in turn I share ideas for improving current processes. I am glad that I am not treated like a mere cog in the machine, but as a valuable member of the team whose work is appreciated, just like others.

How to find your way in a new environment?
TALENT DAYS: Finally, could you share some advice on adapting to a new role and work environment?

Michael: First of all, remember that you don't have to be an expert in your role on your first day. Don't expect too much from yourself at the beginning. Learning the specifics of a new job takes time. Get to know your coworkers well, even if you work remotely, building relationships with the people you work with is extremely important. It helps create a positive atmosphere and makes work more enjoyable. And don't be afraid to ask questions. Although it may seem difficult at times, it's always better to ask than to make a mistake. Remember that everyone was a beginner at some point and no one expects you to know everything right away.
