Why do we choose onboarding via an app?
For us, that was an important reason to see if we could approach the way of welcoming and onboarding our employees and seconded assistants differently. More personal, more innovative, faster and more interactive. After some orientation and consideration, we came to the conclusion that we wanted to use an onboarding app.
The advantage of an app is that it can be consulted by a new colleague anywhere and at any time, the content can be displayed in a visual and attractive manner, it can be used immediately from the moment of signing and we can keep the management in our own hands so that the app is always up-to-date.onboarding_1

What should you take into account?
Setting up this onboarding app did not happen in one day, but required focus and close cooperation between the HR and Marketing departments.
One of the first pitfalls you encounter is that you quickly want to share too much information.
