GGoogle announced that it will suspend the accounts of merchants with irregularities in the prices of products published on its Google Shopping platform. This refers to changes in prices during the purchasing process, from advertising in the browser to the final purchase.

In July of last year, Google explained that its GoogleBot had been creating shopping carts that were then abandoned, all in an automated manner. The idea was to check the veracity of the information hungary business email database that buyers receive from merchants. Thanks to this analysis, Google was able to find some cases of sellers who were not complying with these platform policies, making the decision to implement corrective measures: the much-feared suspensions.

The technology company has emphasized this situation, as stated in its section on requirements and practices for Google Shopping sellers .

« People expect to pay the advertised price for your products. If the price listed in a Shopping ad or free product listing is different from the price in a customer's cart, it could create a negative experience for them and result in a lost sale »
