Students need to be attracted to success

Post by sharminakter »

I know that you also teach Kedge students. If I ask you what is the first sentence of your first class of the year – apart from hello, perhaps? And more seriously, what do you think is the most important thing to convey to them?
“Do you want to easily find work and benefit from attractive salaries? The SEO profession is recruiting! And knowing SEO will be useful to you in all your projects.”

Money doesn't buy happiness, but not having to count at the end of the month when you lead a simple life is an argument that resonates with young people who are worried about job prospects.

I give them a concrete example: “ My partner launched a dog behaviorist business two years ago: in six months, her site was bringing her several incoming requests per day without a cent of advertising. If you listen to me, I will teach you how to be operational in an agency and manage the SEO of your site so that you can (very well) earn a living. ”

Above all, we must provide them with sound and clear foundations, with practical applications. I do not necessarily train experts, but students who have a good command of the fundamentals and are capable of not student data blushing during an internship in an agency or with an advertiser. I like giving lessons because it forces me to raise my head from the handlebars, to organize my thoughts and explain them in theoretical tools and techniques that are easy to explain. It is a give and take: I structure myself by teaching them.

You have just published Le Référencement at Studyrama. What do we essentially learn in this book, does it talk about marketing strategy?
All my professional books take an educational approach, or even a narrative approach. Whether it is Digitize Your Brand (Studyrama Pro, 2014), What Google Wants (Studyrama, 2016) or more recently SEO (Studyrama Pro, 2019), the idea is to transmit a general culture.
