Comparative study on search volumes

To verify the accuracy of the search volumes, we conducted a competitive study between our keyword data and that of the most popular SEO platforms in the market, using keyword data in the United States region.

The competing platforms studied were:

Google Keyword Planner.
Semrush.
Moz.
Mangoes.
Ahrefs.
Serpstat.
Sistrix.
To judge the accuracy of the data, the reference value of the "true" search volume list of kyrgyzstan consumer email was established based on anonymized data from Google Search Console.

To find the real volume for each keyword, we collected the number of impressions received by URLs that were immediately visible on the keyword's search results page. Using this method, we can say that, in most cases, X number of impressions = X number of searches for that keyword.

The study was divided into two phases: a comparison between the quality of the volumes (accuracy) and the coverage of the database.

Part 1. Volume quality
First, we compared all seven tools simultaneously. For each keyword in our sample of 10,000, we determined the winning platform based on the value that most closely matched the GSC benchmark. From these comparisons, Semrush emerged as the winner most often.
