In the window that opens, click the Create button and proceed to setting up the configuration of the new event:
Custom event name – here we specify the name of the new event that we will now create. In our case, the new event will be called ContactUs. I recommend using a name format for such events that is different from the name of events transmitted using GTM, so that you can distinguish which events actually come from the site and which are created inside Google Analytics 4.
Match conditions – we prescribe rules for which event and with which parameter values we philippines rcs data want to take into account. For example, as a virtual event ContactUs , we want to take into account the send_form event, in which the form_name parameter is contact_us .
Parameter settings – in this block you can specify whether to copy parameters from the source event. For example, in our case, whether we want the ContactUs event to have a location parameter . In this block you can also configure parameter changes , but this topic is beyond the scope of this article.
After all the settings, don't forget to click the Create button in the upper right corner. Now that we have created our event, we need to specify that we want to record it as a conversion event. To do this, go to the Conversions section, click the Create conversion event button and in the field that appears, enter the name of our new event - ContactUs . This completes the settings.
In the window that opens, click the Create button
