How to organize your contacts in the CRM system

Post by Mitu100@ »

There are many common categories into which contacts and customers are divided. This starts with the classification into "customer" or "prospect", but depending on what your company sells and how you work with contacts, completely different classifications may make sense.

For example, do you regularly send brochures or newsletters to your contacts? Then add a tag to the relevant contacts in the CRM system and you will never have to go egypt telegram screening through the list of all contacts again. Instead, you can find the right people with one click and export the data for the personal cover letter or form letter. To keep things organized and avoid creating similar tags multiple times, similar tags are suggested directly when you enter them.

You will then find all assigned tags in the overview of your people. There you can filter all contacts with the desired tags and also limit them by zip code or city.

By the way: To find frequently used tags more quickly or to group them into categories, you can use special characters such as '@' or '#'. In the illustration, for example, we have grouped the contact types Customer, Supplier, Promoter and Other with the '§'. This way, what belongs together stays together.

What works for organizing people also works for companies and their offers in the CRM system. Here, for example, you could assign tags for the product category or the origin of the opportunity in order to be able to group things easily.

Use the contact organization options in the CRM system. You will save a lot of time and effort searching and copying back and forth between different sources.
