Album of the Year and received

Post by aminaas1575 »

“Following two successful introductory EPs (2019’s ‘Terrible Hands’ and 2020’s ‘Isolation Content’), Soda Blonde released their debut album, ‘Small Talk’, in 2021. The LP was subsequently nominated for RTÉ’s Choice Music Award for rave reviews from Paste Magazine, Atwood Magazine, and The Irish Times, who called it “a record so articulate and expressive that its title has to be an ironic inside joke.” // Check out their 2024 SXSW performance schedule here.

Thunder Jackson

“As the son of an Elvis Presley impersonator, Thunder Jackson saw music – and its transformative powers – as his most logical calling. From performing songs in the bars of his hometown to germany phone number strolling the streets of Los Angeles, the Piedmont, Oklahoma, native’s journey to his vibrant, self-titled debut was unique. That album, Thunder Jackson – produced by Pete Lawrie Winfield (Until the Ribbon Breaks, Run the Jewels) and mixed by Rob Kinelski (Billie Eilish, King Princess) – has amassed tens of millions of streams and features the viral hits “Love Sick Doctor” and “Guilty Party,” as well as the breakthrough tracks “Find Yourself” and “Colours”… In March 2024, Thunder Jackson returns with a triumphant new single, “Steady Freddy,” mixed by Eric J (Flume, St. Vincent), and accompanied by a music video directed by Jarod Evans (Mothica, Flaming Lips). More new music coming soon…” // Check out their SXSW 2024 performance schedule here.

Wesley Dean

“Australian singer-songwriter Wesley Dean has just wrapped up his “Crazy Hearts Across America” tour, which saw him and his family travel over 5,000 miles from Nashville to Los Angeles in an RV, passing through cities steeped in musical history and performing off-the-beaten-track gigs from Memphis to New Orleans, Luckenbach, Marfa, Las Vegas and elsewhere. With a director and cameraman on board, the tour was recorded as part of his upcoming feature-length film “Crazy Hearts: The Documentary,” set for release in early 2025, where the ten tracks from his upcoming album “Music From Crazy Hearts,” out April 26, complement the soundscape of Dean’s personal story of breaking industry molds to make a name for himself independently.” // Check out his performance details here .
