Employees of one of the universities in Wuhan have called a new fabric for summer clothing “metafabric”. They inserted microscopic particles of titanium oxide, Teflon and polylactic acid into the fibers of ordinary fabric. The principle of their interaction is very complex. In simple words, titanium oxide and Teflon are needed to reflect visible and ultraviolet light from the human body. And polylactic acid fibers emit infrared radiation.
