What are digital nomad visas?
In recent years, more and more countries have been offering special visas for digital nomads. This helps the economy develop, as these specialists do not apply for local jobs, but at the same time leave their money in the host country. One of the main requirements for obtaining such a visa is a ban on employment in the destination country - digital nomads' income must come from abroad.
Another important criterion is income level. Immigration services carefully assess the financial capabilities of applicants to ensure that they can support themselves and their families. Income requirements are very high in some countries: for example, to obtain a digital nomad visa in Costa Rica, you must prove a monthly income of at least $3,000.
