On Instagram, the number of video views is less than the post reach. WTF?

For example, the reach of a post can be 1000 people, and the views of the only video in the same post are 350. Any normal person will ask - how is this possible? Moreover, the video starts in the feed automatically and it would be logical to assume - if a person saw our post in the feed, then he watched the video (or, at least, started watching it).

In fact, everything is simple. Let's turn to Instagram Help . It says that "..Views are counted if the video is played for at least 3 seconds.." Now everything falls into place: 1,000 people saw your post. But only 350 of them watched the video for more than 3 seconds.
