Don’t like Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump? There are plenty that of people that don’t. Luckily, there are alternative candidates whom you can cast your vote for. The problem is, most people don’t know who these alternatives are or what they believe in. Don’t worry folks, I’m here to help. Here is a breakdown of the alternative candidates, Jill Stein and Gary Johnson, and what they stand for.

JillDr. Jill Stein is the Green Party candidate. She graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1979. As a physician, she started to notice the effect the environment had on people’s health and became an advocate for a healthy environment as a human right. She worked as an instructor at Harvard Medical School from 1982-2006 and wrote many books during that time. In 2002 she joined the Green Party and has been running for offices ever since. Her main focus is to save our environment and to help those telegram number list in poverty gain basic human rights.

Gary-Johnson-marijuana-presidential-candidateGary Johnson is the Libertarian Party candidate. He got his BA from the University of New Mexico in 1975. After college he started a construction business that became one of the biggest construction companies in New Mexico and he employed more than a thousand people. In 1994 he ran for governor of New Mexico and won. During his tenure he got the nickname “Governor Veto” having vetoed more than 750 bills while in office. His state was one of four states to have a balanced budget when he left office in 2003. The main issues that Gary Johnson focuses on are limiting the power of government, giving people more freedom, and lowering taxes.
