Organization into categories and collections

Post by hoxesi8100@ »

SEO and URL : At the bottom of the product page, you will find SEO settings. Here, you can optimize the page title and meta description to improve search engine visibility. Shopify automatically generates a URL for each product, but you can edit it to make it more readable and optimized.
Once you have completed these steps, click on “Save” . Your product will now be visible in your catalog.

Once you've added your products, it's important to organize them so customers can easily find them. Shopify uses a system called collections, which lets you group together products that are similar or have similar characteristics.

Creating collections: Go to “Products” > “Collections” and click “Create collection”. A collection can be created manually or automatically. Manual collections allow you to add products one by one, while fantuan database automatic collections group products based on specific conditions (for example, all products under a certain price range or in a certain size).

Manual Collections: Select the products you want to add to a collection and group them under a category (e.g. “Summer Clothing”) to have maximum control over which products to include.
Automatic Collections: Define specific criteria to create dynamic collections. For example, you can set up a “New Arrivals” collection that automatically adds all products created in the last 30 days.
Categories and Filters: Collections can be thought of as categories in your store. Add a short description and a representative image of the collection to make it visually appealing. You can also enable filters to allow customers to refine their search within a collection (for example, by price or color).
