I decided to talk about Carol Lima 's talk — she is responsible for Digital Strategies and Content at Resultados Digitais . She is an advertising professional, with a specialization in Fashion, Management and Marketing.
In her professional career, Carol worked at the Regional Directorate of Senac Santa Catarina, implementing the organization's digital channels throughout the state, and coordinated the Social Media team at Locaweb in São Paulo for 5 years. In addition, she is the author of the book “How to end your company in just 140 characters” published by Novatec.
I found the points raised in your talk about people's behavior on social media and how brands can position themselves and ride this wave very consistent. I believe that the trend of humanized discourses is here to stay, and RD's metrics after applying this new stance only prove this.

How should brands communicate on social media? This is the marketing list of plumbers million dollar question that no one has the exact answer to, and why? Each brand/company has to find its tone and effective way of communicating with its audience. Today, people are hyper-exposed to stimuli and communications. The crux of the matter is how you (as a brand) are going to generate a connection.
Even though the goal of every strategy is to make a sale/transaction, to win over users in the digital world, today you need to humanize your message to truly impact your target audience. According to a survey by Ceb Marketing Leadership Council & Google (2015), 79% of consumers consider connection with a brand to be a decisive factor when making a purchase . Behind brands there are people, and consumers increasingly want to see and feel this.

This was my third edition of the RD Summit and in every edition I always set aside some time to watch some special talks, such as those by Fabio Ricotta, Vitor Peçanha, Fabio Prado, among others. This year was no different, however, my focus was different. In the last two editions I focused a lot on technical talks, but in 2019 I watched a lot of stuff about CS.
