Distribute Facebook ads at certain times of the day

Post by samiaseo222 »

Using the calendar-based ad serving option will allow you to activate or pause your ads on specific days and times. The key to getting better results at lower costs is to distribute your ads only during the hours and days that historically have been giving you the best results.

Before you can schedule ads on your calendar, you'll need to make a small adjustment to Facebook's requirements.

The first thing you need to do germany email list is change your budget to “Ad set budget.” In the “Budget and Schedule” section, click on the “Budget” dropdown and select “ Ad set budget” and, if it isn’t set automatically, select to set a campaign start and end date.

Then scroll down to “ Ad Scheduling” and select “ Post ads on a schedule.”

Select the days of the week and times you want your ads to run from the grid.

To find out which days and times of the week you're getting the best results, you'll need to check your Facebook reports. In your dashboard, click the "Reports" dropdown and select "All" and "Time" (viewer's time zone).

Next, you'll need to make a change to this report. On the right side of the screen, open the metrics tab and in the performance section select amount spent to add this metric to the report.

Adding this column to your report will help you identify the days and times of the week when you are getting the worst results. Now all you need to do is remove them from your calendar . If you don't sell online, focus on the time slots that are bringing you the highest quality leads.

It’s a good idea to select “Expedited delivery type” once you’ve set up your delivery schedule , so that your ads show as often as possible during your peak times . When you choose this option, Facebook will be able to spend your money more quickly, so keep an eye on it.

4) Optimize custom audience and lookalike segments
As you may know, custom and lookalike audiences tend to have better performance and relevance scores than other audiences you may be working with.

If you want to further refine these audiences, you can combine age and gender criteria. These new micro-segmented audiences will allow you to focus exclusively on the most profitable ones.

The first step is to be able to see how your audiences are currently performing by age group. To do this, go to the “ad set” tab and open it. Now click on the “breakdown” tab and choose By delivery > Age

Now you can see how your different ad sets perform among different age groups. With this information, you need to customize your lookalike audiences.

In this report we can see that the best performing group is the 35-44 group, with the lowest cost per result. A quick change to exclude the groups that are not giving us good results will have a big impact on the average cost per result.

To implement this change, open the editor, go to the audiences section, and exclude the age groups that are negatively impacting the performance of your campaigns.

In addition to this, you can also customize your audiences in another way. Go back to your ad set and take a look at their gender distribution and repeat the same process as before. If you find that there is a significant difference between genders, consider being able to make a different creative for each of them. This will always be a better option than excluding one of them.
