Do I need to change service providers?

Post by Mitu100@ »

What if the non-European service refuses to do this, but I have already paid fees in advance? Do I then really have to stop using the service? Will I get any compensation? And what if the service is only semi-professional, perhaps a start-up company that is still in the process of being established?

I've heard that there are services that don't offer this yet.

The problem is that as a dominican republic telegram screening client I have to check a potential contractor for data protection compliance in advance.

So the blame lies with the client.

There are also no regulations as to whether a contract for data processing must be offered free of charge.

If there is really no other way of reaching an agreement, one option would be to inform the state data protection authority. They may prohibit the use of the service provider, but will then also deal with the service provider. Another option would be to find a data protection consultant who can deal with this problem.

The GDPR also applies to start-ups . So if a service is offered in the EU , regardless of whether it is offered by a large or small company, data protection must be observed. Unfortunately, founders are not always aware of this.
