The steps I took had exactly the result I wanted: all comments are still there, all formatting and all links were retained. The old blog post has been neatly re-inserted at the top of my blog timeline.
However, this method does have some small disadvantages : Firstly, there are quite a lot of steps that you have to carry out. They are not difficult in themselves, but you must not forget any of them or change the order.
You also need to be online cyprus telegram screening at the time of publication - or at least shortly before - and be able to carry out step 4. If that is not possible and you plan further in advance, the old blog post will not be visible for quite a while. For less frequented blogs, this may not be a problem for one, two or even three hours, especially if the post is older and you have not recently promoted it. But if you have a lot of visitors, the post is perhaps not that old or you have only recently promoted it, this is not so clever.
How about it, have you ever updated older blog posts? How did you go about it? Have you perhaps found a better and simpler solution than I have? Feel free to leave me a comment!
