But a swipe file doesn’t just contain headlines, it also contains stories .

Stories are extremely valuable.

You can use them to start your blog articles, embellish your books, and they stay in your mind longer than mere facts.

But where do you get good and interesting stories?

From books.

Whenever I come across an canada telegram screening exciting story, I write it down in my digital notebook (Evernote).

– Wilma Rudolph, polio until 11, but still won three gold medals at the Olympics –> Talent issue?

This creates a small but very valuable collection of stories that I can draw on.

You can often find such little stories and anecdotes in non-fiction books such as “ Mastery ”*, “ Talent is Overrated ”* or “ Think and Grow Rich ”*.

Because good authors always include stories in their books. Good books contain many small examples that you can use for your blog articles.

Why reinvent the wheel?

Simply write the stories in your swipe file.

Do you think that's uncreative? Then use these stories to turn them into a creative writing exercise . Give the story a new ending.
