Unless you’ve been living under a rock, on top of a rock, or anywhere near a rock, you’ll know that Moz has recently invested a lot of time, research, and money into a new and improved Domain Authority . Those who use Domain Authority (DA) naturally want to improve their scores, and it’s a question I admit we’ve sometimes avoided, because like any metric, DA can be overstated when taken out of context or viewed in isolation.
I wrote a how-to post, but what follows is what can only be described as a warrior FAQ...
Why do you want to increase DA?
This may seem like a strange question coming belize number data an employee of a company that builds domain authority, but it’s the most important question I can ask you. What is your end goal? Domain authority is designed to be an indicator of success (more on that in a moment), but it doesn’t driveکامیابی. DA is not used by Google and will not have any direct impact on your rankings. Increasing your DA just for the sake of increasing your DA is a meaningless and futile exercise.
I understand your confusion. If I had to simplify domain authority, I would say that DA is an indicator of your overall link equity. Yes, all else being equal, higher DA is better than lower DA, and it’s okay to strive for higher DA, but higher DA itself shouldn’t be your end goal.
So, the DA is useless, then?
So, I don't want more DA?
