Julien: So, as an introduction. To start, my name is Julien. I am the manager of a communications agency called Appartement 303, which is based in Metz, in the East of France. We do graphic design on all media, both on paper and on the web. And then, we also do communications consulting and we also do video, which is why we support you for YouTube videos, among other things. Besides that, I am the father of two children and passionate about graphics, nature and lots of other things...

Johan: When did you create Apartment 303?

Julien: So Apartment 303, that dates back to 2013. So, it's been 9 years now, it goes by quickly. It started at my place.

Johan: At your place?

Julien: Yes, at home, in my apartment. That's one of the reasons why it's called that, and that's it. And then, today, we have premises in Metz, we're a team of three. And it's crazy the evolution that there has been... I think we'll come back to it later, but the evolution that there has been for this company.

Johan: Great. Was that your dream? That’s a question I get asked a lot. Was Français Authentique your dream, the thing you’ve been dreaming about since you were a kid? And you, was that the case?

Julien: No, not at all. My childhood dream was to make movies. So, I'm answering that a little bit, but...

Johan: Yes, it is linked anyway.

Julien: We're a long way from making films, but here it is. Why did I create Appartement 303? Quite simply because I worked as a cross-border worker like many people in the sector. So, I made trips every day that were to Luxembourg. I made this choice because at the time I had a child, my first child, and in fact, I needed to be much closer to my family. And the only way to return to France was to find work, except that on the job market, at the time, as today, it was a little complicated and so I said to myself: "The only solution is for me to set up my own business".
