In search of readability and visibility
When the LegalTech ecosystem is mapped, segmentation is done on the categorization of products and rarely according to priority target markets (individuals, businesses and legal professionals) which are superimposed.
From drafting legal acts and documents to predictive justice, networking, etc., more than fifteen categories of solutions are aimed at both professionals and individuals. It's always difficult to find your way around.
According to an infographic from Village of Justice– 11/28/2018: Individuals are targeted by 45% of the players in the sector. Lawyers seem to be the most coveted clientele for LegalTech start-ups (62%), just ahead of companies (58%).
Are law firms a priority? However, they often seem argentina mobile database to lag behind in their uses compared to client expectations. Many digital marketing professionals urge them to enrich and invent a user experience that meets expectations.
Are they not aware that for them it is about "being where individuals and companies go in search of legal assistance?" as Philippe Wagner , co-founder of Captain Contrat , explains in the World of Law of September 4, 2019.
If we ask, for example, about the platforms that facilitate their connection with litigants, too many lawyers are still unaware of this type of tool, opposing it to the sacrosanct word of mouth. Bertrand Pigois, the co-founder of Meet laW , an online appointment booking solution from the Septeo group , spoke on Parisian posterslast July: "our teams have counted more than 1,600 unsuccessful lawyer searches in France since April 1st! Our mission is to transform this potential for lost appointments by integrating them into the agendas of our subscribed lawyers"
A first marketplace, a first YouTube influencer
Noting the difficulty for a legal director or a liberal professional (lawyer, notary, bailiff, etc.) to identify which solution meets their needs, Seraphin Legal has created an online store: the Legal Tech Store (March 2019, Décideurs)
This Marketplace does not claim to be exhaustive – there are more than 300 legaltech players to date in France, offering varied specializations and services but unequal in their effectiveness – indicates its founder, Thomas Saint-Aubin: " We have chosen to address legal innovators and to select the best on the market (around 10%) via a governance committee on a list of objective criteria: history, references, ethics, etc."
