Custom segments allow you to specify URLs, keywords, or apps, and deliver ads to sites that contain related content or to users who are interested in the sites at the specified URLs .
It can be delivered through both Google and Yahoo!, and whereas affinity categories and purchase-oriented audiences allow you to select targets from a list of existing genres, you can freely set target keywords and URLs.
Therefore, if you have a clear image of the target you want, or if you combine it with other targeting, you can deliver to your ideal target with pinpoint accuracy. There are three items that can be set in a custom segment.

Customer Match
Customer Match is a targeting method available only through Google that delivers ads based on customer information held by the advertiser, such as email addresses and phone numbers .
Since personal information is used, there are detailed criteria for distribution, such as applying for distribution permission from the media (whitelist application), having a track record of complying with policies in past ad distribution, and having a customer information list with more than 1,000 items.
