Who do you write for?

Post by Abdur12 »

Good question. I have decided at this stage of my blog to focus on a target audience of beginners. The relationship with old readers has an end.

It's a question that's been on my mind lately. I have some (or many?) readers who are unhappy because they no longer get as much value out of the content as they did a couple of months or years ago. "You've lost your spark."

On the other hand, I still get the same number of emails from readers who are happy and seem to get a lot out of what I publish. “I love your blog.”

It is true that it is a challenge to publish a daily post. The price I pay is days when the quality of the content is not as good as it could be if I dedicated 5 more hours to each post. Still, many people get the most out of it. It is a choice and decision I made a long time ago because the relationship between a blogger and a reader has an expiration date .

Satisfying a reader's increased knowledge over a very long japanese mobile number list period of time means a proportional increase in effort on the part of the blogger. There comes a point where it just doesn't pay off. In addition, you create too great a distance for a beginner reader. There comes a point where you have to say goodbye.

So I've chosen to target a beginner audience at this stage of the blog. 30% of the content will be at an intermediate level and maybe 5-10% for advanced readers. If you're a professional blogger, don't come here every day. Occasionally is enough. Or even easier. You subscribe to my blog and I'll send you only the 3 best posts once a week. Deal?
