This includes the creation of the "Special Incentive Regime for the Production of Low Carbon Hydrogen" (Rehidro), aiming to enable companies interested in producing this type of input within a period of up to five years after the publication of the law.
Furthermore, the project proposes measures such as raising funds through the issuance of debentures and granting tax benefits to companies located in Export Processing Zones (ZPE), seeking to encourage investments in this strategic sector for the energy transition.
The proposal was approved by the Chamber of Deputies at the end of 2023 and should be considered by the Senate this year.
