Where Zoho fell short for me was in pipeline management. The activity and deal views are downright crap. Even with the switch to Kanban, they are ugly and cluttered. I had the same problem with the UI for contacts, leads, and accounts. It’s just messy and slow to navigate. This little issue seems to come up again and again – the UI is awkward, unintuitive, and cluttered. With a few weeks or months of practice and use, I’m sure I could get it to work powerfully, but it feels… meh. Workflow automation is also limited to a pro plan, so I haven’t been able to simplify my process much.

This immediately answers the question: why is HubSpot CRM free and why aren't the others free too? To properly compare with other CRMs, you need to take into account the paid service Sales Hub.
