recruitment methods and such processes are implemented in our organization. What's more, each of the people who work at Audika thanks to Talent Days had the opportunity to participate in such a process after we met at the fair. However, the atmosphere of the fair means that this first contact is much less stressful than a classic job interview. Our stand was also approached by people who had not known the company before and, guided by curiosity, asked free, open questions. Thanks to this, we had the opportunity to learn about each other's preferences and expectations, in a 99 acres data
slightly less formal atmosphere.
Success stories
TALENT DAYS: Can you share stories about your greatest recruitment successes after participating in the fair?
AUDIKA: Thanks to Talent Days , Pola and Sebastian joined our marketing team. My first meeting with Pola took place at the National Stadium during an event and I am very happy that we are now playing on the same team, because she is a great team sports player. Sebastian, in turn, visited our stand in Krakow. I remember his positive attitude and openness in communication. I think that it is thanks to these traits that he manages to communicate so effectively with patients. Working in a hearing aid specialist's office, in addition to professional competences, also requires interpersonal skills. Sebastian's story shows that if you have a predisposition to work with people, you can simply learn the profession of a hearing aid specialist.
Candidates must have these skills!
TALENT DAYS: What do you pay attention to when meeting candidates for Talent Days?
AUDIKA: The key for us is the way of communicating and the general attitude of the person we are talking to about potential cooperation. Our mission is to make people with hearing loss enjoy life to the fullest. In our daily work, we meet people who need support in hearing better. This creates a number of challenges that not everyone wants to face. During events such as Talent Days, we do not assess the candidate's competences, but rather determine how much our common expectations are consistent.
TALENT DAYS: So what skills and characteristics are most important to you in candidates?
AUDIKA: In our conversations with Talent Days participants, we speak openly about the traits that are necessary to derive satisfaction from this job. I mean an empathetic approach, a desire to develop, communication skills, determination in pursuing a goal and a certain maturity. The latter two are particularly important in the context of the sales-oriented nature of the profession of a hearing aid specialist.
TALENT DAYS: How do job fairs help you gain valuable information about the job market?
AUDIKA: All the information we get directly from candidates is the best, most objective and most up-to-date source regarding trends and expectations of the young generation. As I mentioned earlier, the atmosphere of the fair itself makes the talks take place in an open, friendly atmosphere. I am not surprised that candidates decide to start cooperation after the interview at Talent Days. In such conditions, you just want to work!
Summary
As you can see, Talent Days job fairs are not just an event, but a real chance to start a new career. We hope that the importance of a face-to-face meeting with an employer will become as important to you as it is to Audika .
