Can bailiffs seize a credit card?
Formally, federal law does not prohibit bailiffs from blocking credit cards. But there is one nuance.
Bailiffs can only block personal funds; borrowed funds cannot be touched, since this will be considered the involvement of third parties. That is, theoretically, money can be written off from a credit card, but only if these are the debtor's funds, not the bank's.
